Why do we get different climates in different areas.

Equatorial areas are very hot because the sun shines almost directly above the equator and its rays are concentrated on a small area so its hot.The hot air rises above and becomes lighter making it a low pressure area.In a high pressure area its the air is colder this means that the air sinks as cold air is heavier.
This is why we get different climates in different areas because of high and low pressure.
